“Let food be thy medicine; let medicine be thy food”- Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, was the first to recognise the most basic truth that what we put, or don’t put, into our bodies will have a direct impact on our health, sometimes immediately, sometimes gradually. Good nutrition and diet are the foundation of health and wellbeing, but the added aspect for me is that food is one of life’s great pleasures, so whether using Functional Food for all round health or a specific reason, our diet should be abundant and delicious as well as healing.
